KABUL – Afghan Taliban delegation expressed in a statement theirappreciation for Pakistan’s support for peace in Afghanistan.
Afghan Taliban confirmed that both sides agreed on the need for aresumption of the peace process at the earliest opportunity.
In the meeting it was emphasized that a reduction of violence by allparties to the conflict was necessary to provide an enabling environmentfor the resumption of the peace process at an early date, according thestatement by the Pakistan Foreign ministry.
