The Swiss Government, in partnership with the Higher Education Commission,has introduced the ‘Excellence Scholarship for Pakistani Students’ for theupcoming academic year 2024-25. This initiative offers scholarships forone-year post-master’s research, three-year post-master’s, PhD, andone-year Post-Doctoral Programmes (PDP).

The primary objective of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships is toprovide educational opportunities to foreign researchers pursuing master’sor PhD degrees. The selection of scholarship recipients will be overseen bythe Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students.
Additionally, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced ascholarship program for students from Gilgit-Baltistan who aspire to studyat reputable Pakistani universities or institutions. This program, known asthe “Undergraduate Scholarship Program for the Students of Gilgit-Baltistanin Top Pakistani Universities/Institutions (Batch-III),” offersscholarships for the academic year 2023-24.
