NEW DELHI – India has sought this year’s fourth technical meeting withPakistan on the Kartarpur corridor.
On the agenda are three things — till the time a bridge on Ravi river isnot constructed, Pakistan should build a service road, provisions to helppilgrims if an emergency arises and mechanism to share details of pilgrims.
When the second round of talks between Indian and Pakistan officials tookplace on July 14, Islamabad agreed to construct a bridge over the old Raviriver that will allow all-weather pilgrimage to the Gurudwara KartarpurSahib throughout the year.
