ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Senator Rehman Malikon Thursday lashed out at the popular micro-blogging website Twitter forsuspending the account of senior PPP leader Raza Rabbani.
In a tweet, Malik expressed “shock” over suspension of Rabbani’s Twitteraccount and asked Twitter to restore his account. “I am shocked to see thatTwitter has blocked his account.
I demand its reactivation,” he said while raising serious concerns over thecredibility of twitter. The issue of his account’s suspension came to lightwhen another page, apparently being operated by the team of former chairmanof Senate, voiced its concern on the Twitter’s action.
However, the cause of suspension has been unclear.
