ISLAMABAD – A meeting of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of like-mindedopposition parties is being held in Islamabad on Friday.

It is being attended by PPP leaders Sherry Rehman and Qamar Zaman Kaira,PML-N’s Mushahid Hussain Syed, ANP’s Mian Iftikhar Hussain and Ghulam AhmadBilour and MMA leaders Maulana Ghafoor Haideri and Awais Noorani.

Malik Ayub, Anisa Zeb Tahir Kheli, Liaquat Baloch and Senator Mir Kabir arealso present.

The meeting is discussing the post-election scenario and the future courseof action.

The meeting appointed Murad Ashraf Janjua as Chief of Protocol.
