ISLAMABAD – Opposition parties have finalised names for the candidates forthe slot of prime minister, speaker and deputy speaker.

However the names will be annoubced on the day of elections in the lowerhouse.

This was decided in a meeting held at the residence of National AssemblySpeaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq that was attended by members of the joinopposition on Friday.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaquat Baloch told media oppositionparties have finalised their nominees for the slot of prime minister,speaker and deputy speaker

The names will be announced on the election day in the National Assembly,he added.

Opposition parties during a multi party confrrence presided over byPakistan Muslim Leagiue-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Thursdaydecided to take oath in parliament.

PPP leader Sherry Rehman said that all political parties had decided totake oath and inisted they would give the incoming government a tough timein parliament.
