ISLAMABAD – The 10th monthly meeting of National Counter-TerrorismAuthority was held in Islamabad on Friday.

Chaired by the National Coordinator NACTA Dr. Muhammad Salman Khan, it wasattended by officials from Financial Monitoring Unit, Federal Board ofRevenue, Federal Investigation Agency, Anti-Narcotics Force, State Bank ofPakistan, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, and Ministries ofInterior and Finance.

Task force members from federal and provincial departments and governmentswere also in attendance.

According to a declaration issued by NACTA, the meeting took into stock theimplementation of action plan for Financial Action Task Force.

The members gave proposals and deliberated upon the implementation so far.Road map to national risk assessment was also discussed in detail.

The declaration added that NACTA will continue fulfilling the nationalresponsibilities under its mandate.
