Former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger blasts President Donald Trump

WASHINGTON – Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Former California RepublicanGovernor, took a jibe at United States President Donald Trump on Thursday,following the decision of repealing California’s Clean Air Act pre-emptionwaiver and lowering the emissions standards for cars.

According to CNN, Trump administration is calling the plan a ’50-state fueleconomy and tailpipe carbon dioxide emissions standard for passenger carsand light trucks.’

Schwarzenegger took to his official Twitter handle to give a statement on”today’s stupid, fake-conservative policy announcement that no one askedfor”.

“For 48 years — since one of my heroes, then-Gov Ronald Reagan, requestedit — California has had a waiver from the federal government to clean ourown air?? If the President thinks he can win this fight, he’s out of hismind”, the tweet read.

The former Governor also said that he was tired of the fake conservativeswho believe in the state’s right to make their own policies- as long asstate policy is to pollute more.

Schwarzenegger also called the policy ‘stupid’ and with regards to revokingof California’s Clean Air Act pre-emption waiver, he said that the state ofCalifornia has won before and it will win again.

The 71-year old veteran actor has never held back from criticising POTUS orthe White House administration.

Last month, Schwarzenegger termed the press conference of US PresidentDonald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Helsinki”embarrassing”. He blasted Trump and compared him to a ‘wet noodle’ whostood like a fan boy in front of Putin.

“President Trump, I just saw your press conference with President Putin andit was embarrassing. I mean, you stood there like a little wet noodle, likea little fanboy,” Schwarzenegger said in an Instagram video.

The ‘Terminator’ star also went on to say that Trump looked like he wasabout a take an autograph of the Russian President.

He said that Trump ‘sold out his community, the justice system, and “worstof all, our country’.
