LAHORE – Responding to backlash after downpour in Lahore, former PunjabChief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said arrangements are madebeforehand to tackle such situations.

Shehbaz said that drainage machinery is kept ready beforehand to tacklesuch situations. He questioned absence of town administration and lambastedcaretaker set up for criminal negligence.

“I’m not responsible for current situation as my government’s tenure hasexpired a month ago”, asserted Shehbaz.
