*LAHORE – The Rescue 1122 emergency service has started boat service inLahore to rescue and transport residents of the city as over 12 hours ofcontinuous rain turned the streets of Lahore into canals.*
Six people have so far been killed in rain-related incidents in Lahore.According to the Met Office, rains will continue in the next 24 hours.
Various portions of the city have submerged into water and electricityservices across many parts of the city have been cutoff.
