Pakistan government claims giving huge subsidy in Hajj expenses worth 8.6 lakh per person

*ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor onThursday said that the incumbent government had announced sufficientsubsidy approving Rs150,000 per person for the government Haj scheme thisyear to facilitate middle and low income citizens.*

In an interview with PTV news channel, minister for hajj said that thissubsidy has reduced Hajj expenses from Rs860,000 to around Rs710,000 whichis a great step of present government. It also completed all Hajarrangements within one month which normally requires six months. Replyingto a question, he said that the annual Haj would become more comfortableand convenient for Pakistani nation due to various important emergencysteps of government.
