A soldier was martyred when terrorists fired at a military post in generalarea Datta Khel, North Waziristan District on night between June and June2, said a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations.
As per the ISPR statement, Pakistani troops initiated a prompt response andeffectively engaged the terrorists’ location.
However, during intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Hamid Ali (age 28 years,resident of Sargodha) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
The ISPR said sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminateany terrorists found in the area.
