ISLAMABAD – Urwa Hocane lambasted Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker over heranti-Pakistan remarks and the ignorance surrounding them.

Responding to a question over ban on her film ‘Veer Di Wedding’ inPakistan, Bhasker stated, “”For some reason I have to keep answering forthat. I don t know why people think I m a spokesperson for the Pakistanigovernment. What do you expect from a state that s run by Sharia Laws?,”said Swara.

“They re a nonsecular state. I m not surprised at all. Why should we holdup Pakistan, which is a failing state — I don t understand why we keeptaking pleasure and feeling a sense of self-worth from all the silly thingsthat happen in Pakistan. Apologies to all my Pakistani friends right now…Rest assured, Pakistanis have way worse vocabulary than we do. I know.”

To this, Urwa apprised Bhasker that she once termed Pakistan best in theworld.

Bhasker-who visited Pakistan back then in 2015—had admitted that she hadtravelled to a lot of places, London, New York, Paris, Istanbul, they wereall nothing compared to Lahore.
