ISLAMABAD – The attempt to ‘isolate Pakistan internationally’ is beingcarried out on many levels by US and India, however the most crucial one ison the social-cultural level; and this strategy is part of the biggerpicture which involves labelling Islam as violent and Muslims asterrorists.
The bigger picture is of course the on-going wars by the US led by AIPAC;the power of the Jewish lobby on Congress was highlighted by BibiNetanyahu’s speech to US Congress in 2015 where he received 29 standingovations, while Netanyahu spewed lies and encouraged another war, this timewith Iran. Studies have shown that media shapes public opinion and nothinghas perpetuated the myth that Islam is synonymous with terrorism more thanHollywood.
Films like American Sniper and Zero Dark Dirty denigrate Muslims and partof the campaign by movie Production houses whose owners are incidentallypro-Israel.
Bollywood’s alliance with Hollywood has also intensified the negativecampaign against Pakistan and Muslims. Modi’s alliance with Netanyahu wasconfirmed when, as soon as he was elected he became the first Indian PrimeMinister to visit Israel.
Bollywood has also become a propaganda tool to isolate Pakistan, with abarrage of Indian films, that through sentimental themes and subliminalmessages, fuse into the psyche that Pakistan is a terrorist state.Bollywood’s latest production Raazi highlights that Pakistan is infiltratedwith spies, and Kashmiri’s want to be with India.
Apparently Raazi is a true story and a great propaganda piece aboutKashmir. Sehmat Khan, an Indian Kashmiri girl, who in 1971, as an Indianspy gets married to a Pakistani military officer, to extract classifiedinformation.
The message conveyed in the movie is that Kashmiri Muslims support Indiaand many have infiltrated Pakistan. In the film Indian spy’s pop up,everywhere, in shops, as rickshawallas, as pan sellers, Sehmat has to justcall and she is escorted around by this network of spy’s.
The film affirms Indian Spy Kulbushan Yadav’s claim that RAW spies haveinfiltrated Pakistan, operating in every sphere, funding terroristactivities to destabilize the country. The biggest concern for India is tocontrol the whole of Kashmir, where Israel has been helping for decadesthrough Mossad training camps, supplying logistic support.
