Lahore: The Federal Government on Sunday has appointed Umer Sarfraz Cheemaas Governor of Punjab, shortly after Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar wasterminated from the office.
According to details, Federal Minister for Information and BroadcastingFawad Chaudhry announced the appointment of a new Governor of Punjab.
Earlier today, the federal government dismissed Governor Punjab ChaudhryMohammad Sarwar. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting FawadChaudhry announced the government’s decision on his official Twitteraccount.
