Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial Sunday summoned seniorjudges to his residence at Judges Colony for consultation in the wake ofthe annulment of the no-confidence motion. Later, the country’s top judgearrived at the Supreme Court link.

It was learnt that SC Justice Qazi Faez Isa appealed to Chief Justice UmarAta Bandial to take suo motu link noticelink in the current worsening politicalsituation in the country.

Similarly, SC Bar Association President Ahsan Bhoon said that the barassociation would file a petition against the cancellation of theno-confidence motion.

The chief justice had reached the apex court. Members of the apex courtstaff also rushed to the SC building the gates of which have been closedpublic and lawyers.
