Application submitted in Supreme Court by opposition parties against NA dissolution: media report

Islamabad – As per the media report, an application has been submitted inthe Supreme Court of Pakistan against the dissolution of the NationalAssembly.

As per the media report earlier it was reported that Chief Justice ofSupreme Court of Pakistan has summoned a meeting of the other judges ofSupreme Court over the latest development in the National Assembly ofPakistan.

The opposition link announced Sundaystaging a sit-in in the National Assemblylink against the deputyspeaker’s annulment of no-confidence motion and Prime Minister Imran Khan’ssuggestion to President Dr Arif Alvi for dissolving the assemblies.

The opposition link also vowed to movethe Supreme Court link against thegovernment’s decision that has created a political crisis in the country.

Following the annulment of the no-trust move, members of the oppositionlink the dais of NA DeputySpeaker Qasim Suri and shouted slogans against the government for itsunconstitutional and undemocratic act.
