ISLAMABAD – Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched a Job Portal (link) that aims to improve matching Ph.D. scholarswith job opportunities.
The Job Portal has been built on Rozee.pk, Pakistan’s largest job placementplatform, with over 30,000 active jobs and an addition of around 1,000 newjobs daily.
The portal will provide Ph.D. scholars access to opportunities in academia,research institutions, and in the private sector that can leverage theunique skills they have developed in pursuance of their Ph.D. degree.
Over time, the increased use of portal will provide HEC with job dataanalytics that will help shape future policies. The portal has been linkedto the unemployed Ph.D. data collected earlier this year.

The Ph.D. scholars who are already registered with the HEC now haveprofiles created on Rozee.pk. These Ph.D. scholars can start takingadvantage of Rozee’s sophisticated job matching algorithm and job alertingfeatures. Ph.D. scholars that have not already registered with the HEC canregister themselves directly on the job portal.
The candidate’s profile has been enhanced to include specific areas thatare relevant to academia/research job seekers (i.e. publications, teachingexperience, grant experience, etc.)
