A meeting to review arrangements for the 48th session of the OIC Council ofForeign Ministers was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Foreign MinisterShah Mahmood Qureshi in the chair.
The 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will be hosted byPakistan on 22nd to 23th of next month in Islamabad.
Addressing the meeting, the Foreign Minister said that Pakistan had hostedthe extraordinary session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers on thesituation in Afghanistan on 19th December last year. He said that all theinstitutions played a vital role for successful conduct of the OIC meeting.
He said that Pakistan will again become center of attention because of theupcoming OIC meeting.

On the occasion, the Foreign Minister was given a detailed briefing on thearrangements being made for the meeting. He directed that all arrangementsshould be finalized at the earliest.
