Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Hussain Chaudhry andSpecial Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Zulfi Bukhari have praisedBarbadian singer Rihanna Fenty after she tweeted about the farmers’ protestin India.

Rihanna spoke in favour of Indian farmers. She shared an article onviolence against farmers on her Twitter account and questioned why it’s notspoken about enough.

As soon as Rihanna’s tweet came to light, the BJP(Bharatiya Janata Party)supporters got instigated to raise their voice.

Soon after her tweet Rihanna became a top trend on social media in India.Her post had garnered over 75k retweets and 139k likes in about 2 hours.

Narendra Modi-supporting Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, while replyingto Rihanna, termed the peasant protesters as terrorists and said that thesepeasants want to divide India so that China can occupy India.

On the other hand, Fawad Chaudhry and Zulfi Bukhari lauded Rihanna and paidher huge respect for supporting farmers protest.

Zulfi Bukhari wrote, “Well said & well done. That’s because they’ve blockedall credible media in India. Not just with the farmers but also with theoppressed Kashmiris.”

The federal minister said, “You have earned the respect of every Farmer ofthe world and particularly of #Punjabis all around the world you have shownyour heart is on the right place…. loads if respect”
