KABUL: Afghanistan says peace talks scheduled to be held in Moscow on 5th of this month will not help the Afghan peace process and that the Russian government should respect an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process.
The spokesman of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sibghatullah Ahmadi said Moscow talks are not necessary for Afghan peace.
He said we hope that Russia like other countries will also express its commitment on recognizing Afghanistan’s role as leader and owner of the peace process.
