ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice Supreme Court Mian Saqib Nisar says impedimentsincluding unfavorable working conditions should not come in the way ofjudges in dispensation of justice to the masses.

Addressing meeting of the National Judicial Policy Making Committee inIslamabad today, he said that the judges should serve the masses withpassion and honesty.

He pointed out that the judiciary is an important organ of the state and ithas to fulfill its responsibilities.

The Chief Justice said that constitution is the supreme document whilstparliament which frames laws is the supreme institution. He said we aresubservient to the laws formulated by the parliament. He said the judgesshould have full grasp over the laws.
