Bahria Town CEO Malik Riaz gets the worst blow

KARACHI – Bahria Town Chief Executive Malik Riaz gets the worst blow asthe National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has declared the Bahria TownKarachi land allotment legal.

NAB has completed the investigations into allotment of alternate lands toBahria Town in Karachi, declaring it illegal.

The reference has been sent to the NAB chairman for approval, which will befiled after approval. The reference has held 28 people, including Sindhformer chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Malik Riaz and his son ZainMalik, responsible for the illegal allotment.

On the other hand, the NAB has summoned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad AliShah and former CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah for investigations next week.

However, they have expressed their ignorance about the NAB summons. “Wewill give a reply according to the law after receiving the notice,” theysaid.

Sources in the NAB said that the Malir River land was allotted illegally toBahria Town under the exchange policy.
