ISLAMABAD – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday arrested one ofits official after his educational degrees were proved bogus.

According to details, FIA has registered a case against Deputy DirectorCyber Crime Wing Balochistan, Nauman Ashraf Bodla for deceiving thedepartment.

Bodla presented a certificate of Newports Institute of Communications andEconomics (NICE), but HEC did not verify the degree as this university wasnot included in any chartered foreign universities nor Higher EducationCommission (HEC) recognized universities.

Therefore, FIA registered a case against him under section 109, 34, 420,468-P, PPC (2) 19475 and later arrested him. Bodla was performing duties inMultan.
