Pakistan Army Major martyred in an Intelligence Based Operation

Security Forces executed an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on a reported terrorist presence in the MiranShah region of North Waziristan district on a Friday. During this operation, a fierce gun battle unfolded, resulting in the tragic loss of Major Amir and Sepoy Arif, both of whom embraced martyrdom.

In the course of the operation, a group of terrorists was identified and intercepted by Major Amir, who was leading the charge from the front lines. Despite the difficult circumstances, Major Amir and his team valiantly engaged the terrorists. During this confrontation, one terrorist met his end, while another sustained injuries.

In the midst of the heavy exchange of fire, two heroic individuals, Major Amir Aziz, aged 29 and hailing from Sargodha District, and Sepoy Muhammad Arif, aged 27 and a resident of Sahiwal District, displayed remarkable bravery as they laid down their lives. Currently, efforts are underway to sanitize the area and eradicate any remaining terrorists.
