Over 7 million children in Yemen facing severe food insecurity: UN

In Yemen, children are suffering from severe food insecurity due to the deteriorating law and order condition.

According to UNICEF, over seven million children face food insecurity in Yemen and about one point eight million children under the age of five are facing acute malnutrition.

The UN agency said about half of the Yemeni population are facing pre-famine conditions. 

Meanwhile, in Yemen, Saudi led coalition forces conducted an operation against military targets in Al Dailami airbase.

In a statement, Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al-Malki said that operations were conducted following an accurate intelligence operation with the aim of destroying such capabilities that threaten regional and international security.
