ISLAMABAD: News of Pakistani singer and actress Meesha Shafi planning to move permanently away to Canada with her family has been circulating around social media for a while now.
Stories of Meesha Shafi and her husband Mehmood Rehman deciding to shift to Canada permanently state that the procedure has been going on for some time now, with arrangements for the move in their final stages.
Canadian Government has even issued Permanent Resident cards to the couple’s children. The procedure of attaining the citizenship starts after candidates have lived in the country for a period of about three years.
Meesha Shafi or her family have not yet made an official statement concerning this decision.
