ISLAMABAD – In another display of matchless unprofessionalism, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) brought back passengers to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s capital Peshawar but left their luggage in Saudi Arabia.

Media reports say the passengers of PIA flight PK-728 were informed about their luggage after they arrived in Peshawar from Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh; the helpless passengers staged a protest at the Bacha Khan Airport against the inefficiency of the national flag carrier.

Responding to the criticism, a PIA spokesperson said they regretted the inconvenience to the passengers due to this issue and ensured that the luggage will be delivered through next available flight to Pakistan, Geo News Pakistan.

This is not the first time the national flag carrier left behind passengers luggage behind as in 2016, a PIA flight left the luggage of passengers at Jeddah airport after being delayed for 10 hours.
