Maximum trees to be planted in KP to tackle climate changes

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to launch a project to minimize losses in those areas where glaciers are melting due to climate changes.  

Addressing a function in Chitral, Provincial Secretary Relief Muhammad Abid Majeed said Chitral, Upper Dir, Swat, Shangla and Mansehra have been included in the project.

Maximum trees would be planted in these areas to tackle climate changes.  

Melting of glaciers have caused losses in Chitral during the last three years.
