KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh issued the orders for the extension of the Rangers power.
Sindh’s senior minister Nisar Khuhro said the special powers of paramilitary force have been extended.
He also underlined the government honestly considers that law and order is not bad in the interior Sindh; hence, the Rangers have been sanctioned to operate in Karachi exclusively.
The incumbent Sindh Government considers that there is no need to extend the Rangers powers in the interior Sindh as law and order is under control in the interior Sindh.
However it is also speculated by the political analysts that as Pakistan Peoples Party considers interior Sindh as it's power hub so it did not want Rangers to interferon in the internal affairs of the interior Sindh.
