The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore granted post-arrest bail toPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed in the case related toarson and violence outside Zaman Park.
The court proceedings took place with Judge Arshad Javed presiding, and theverdict was delivered following arguments presented by the lawyers.
Sanam Javed, who had been identified in the Askari Tower attack case,secured bail by providing a surety bond of Rs2,00,000 after her arrest. TheRace Course police station had registered a case against her in connectionwith the alleged incidents.
Simultaneously, a contempt petition filed by Sanam against IG Punjab isscheduled for a hearing in the Lahore High Court (LHC). Justice Ali BaqirNajafi is set to preside over the hearing, which is slated for December 04.
