ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Darhas sought Japanese cooperation in human resource development of Pakistaniyouth.
He was talking to delegation of Japan embassy including Tokita Yuji and DoiTakemi along with UNDP’s representatives Ignacio Artaza and Laura Sheridanin Islamabad on Monday.
Extending thanks for the continued support of Japanese government indiverse fields, Usman Dar stressed for collaboration regardingimplementation of various Japanese assisted projects in a view to maximizetheir benefits for development of youth in Pakistan.
He highlighted the need for collaboration with different embassies inIslamabad and coordinating scholarships through PM Kamyab Jawan Programme’sportal for effective communication with the Pakistani youth.
Tokita Yuji said that there is a very good momentum in the bilateralrelations between Japan and Pakistan. He said his country is alreadyoffering a number of scholarships to young Pakistanis in different areas.He said we are working on developing technical internship programmes inJapanese companies for Pakistani youth and will also offer the successfulyouth to work in Japan.
