ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Human Rights has drafted nine bills during hundreddays of the government to establish and strengthen necessary mechanism forwelfare of women.
An official of the Ministry said awareness campaigns and redressal of humanrights complaints, three researches on inheritance, street children andharmonization of laws, and three policies, including Women EmpowermentPolicy and Policy on Child Abuse, were also formulated within 100 days.
He said that during the period, the ministry managed to improve thestructure of the ministry on receiving inputs from different sourcesbesides recommending legislation and undertaking research work.
