In Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party(PPP), has indicated his intention to initiate a legal battle against theElection Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over the freezing of funds fordevelopment schemes.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made this announcement while addressing Sindh localgovernment representatives today. He mentioned that if the issue of frozendevelopment funds is not resolved, PPP will approach the courts.
Bilawal emphasized the importance of addressing public issues andcontinuing development schemes at both the federal and provincial levels.
He also expressed PPP’s readiness for the upcoming general elections andcriticized the caretaker government and the ECP for obstructing developmentprojects. Bilawal called upon PPP leaders to work diligently for electoralsuccess and highlighted PPP’s role in uniting the country and endingdivisive politics.
Additionally, he announced plans for district-level power shows on October18 in connection with the Karsaz incident.
