According to insider reports, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PakistanMuslim League-N (PML-N) and former prime minister, has made arrangements toreturn to Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif, who has been entangled in multiple legalcases, departed for London in December 2019 on medical grounds afterreceiving permission from the Lahore High Court to travel abroad for alimited period. The cases against him include the National AccountabilityBureau’s (NAB) Avenfield, Al-Azizia, Hill Metal, and the Flagshipreferences.
Sources indicate that the former premier is scheduled to make his return toPakistan on October 21st, taking a connecting flight. His arrival isanticipated at Abu Dhabi International Airport, with a subsequent flight toLahore planned for the same day.
It has been revealed that Nawaz Sharif’s business class ticket for flight243 of a private airline has been reserved, and he is expected to touchdown at Lahore Airport at 6:25 PM.
