Former Pakistan cricket team captain Misbah-ul-Haq expressed less hope inthe national team’s performance in the World Cup despite their goodperformance.
Speaking to the media at the National Stadium in Karachi, he said that thePakistan team is facing challenges during the global cup, especially afterthe loss to India in the Asia Cup. Special performance is needed for goodresults, and both matches against India are crucial.
Misbah-ul-Haq emphasized the need for a good performance in matchesagainst the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, stating that if the results don’t goin their favor in both matches, the team will be under pressure. Hestressed that every team has its own style of play, and if they can score350 runs, they should aim to win the match.
Regarding Fakhar Zaman, the former captain mentioned his out-of-formsituation as a concern. He believes that Fakhar needs to overcome thepressure and perform well for Pakistan. Fakhar is being backed because hehas the potential to score big for the team.
