KARACHI – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that he could not saywhether talks with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) will succeedor not.
Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the people involved interrorism would not be pardoned. “Pakistan will not fight against thoselaying down arms. However, the case of massacre at Army Public School isdifferent. We will eliminate terrorism and will not allow its return at anycost,” he added.
Sheikh Rasheed said that they would not let Afghanistan go through anycrisis. “No super power can bypass us. We can resume talks with India if itresolves the Kashmir dispute,” he maintained.
He said that the FIA had been directed to take action against thosehoarding the dollar. “The issue of extension in the tenure of NAB ChairmanJustice (retd) Javed Iqbal will be resolved next week,” he added.
He said that the Imran Khan was prevailing over the world politics. “Wehave a great army and knows about good and bad very well,” he added.
The minister asked the world to give the way to the Afghan government sothat they could adjust in the world.
