Sarfraz Ahmed’s captaincy and strategies in the Asia Cup 2018 have comeunder criticism.
“It will be cruel to strip Sarfraz Ahmed from the captaincy on the basis ofthe team’s performance in the 2018 Asia Cup,” he said in a press conferenceon Tuesday.

The former captain urged the Pakistan Cricket Board to name Sarfraz Ahmedfor the mega event in 2019 as soon as possible.
“This way, there will be no confusion among the players,” he added.
