*ISLAMABAD – Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar faces the worst setback fromthe Accountability Court.*
*The accountability court on Tuesday allowed the National AccountabilityBureau (NAB) to sell off the assets of former finance minister Ishaq Dar.*
Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir announced this verdict on a plea ofthe Bureau seeking court permission to auction off the seized assets of thePML-N leader who has been declared proclaimed offender in the assets case.
Ishaq Dar is facing charges of accumulating assets beyond known sources ofincome.
The judge held that the provincial government has authority to eitherauction the assets or keep them with itself.
A day earlier, the accountability court reserved its verdict after a NABprosecutor submitted details of the assets of the absconding accused.
