The Indian media has started propaganda against the renowned Pakistani fastbowler Shaheen Afridi, who is known for taking wickets in his early overs.Ahead of the Asia Cup 2023 match between Pakistan and India, scheduled forSaturday, September 2nd at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka, theIndian media has raised questions about 23-year-old fast bowler ShaheenShah Afridi’s fitness.
They claim that Shaheen Afridi had fitness issues during a match againstNepal and had to leave the field, receiving treatment on the boundary lineafter a spell. The Indian media has even suggested an alternative bowler,Wasim Junior, in case Shaheen Afridi is unable to play against India.
However, the national team management asserts that Shaheen Afridi completedfive overs with full fitness and left the field temporarily due to changinghis sweaty shirt in the hot weather, returning afterward.
