ISLAMABAD – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik AminAslam says ‘Clean Green Index’ will be launched soon with the aim to shiftbehavior patterns of people of Pakistan.
He was talking to UNICEF delegation led by Tajudeen Oyelwale in Islamabadon Monday.
He said in the first phase, 20 local governments/ cities of KP and Punjabwill be included while in the next phase it will be launched on nationalscale.
The Adviser said that government will play its leadership role tofacilitate other ministries and provincial departments to accomplish theClean Green Pakistan targets.
He said ministry of climate change and UNICEF’s work in partnership hashelped in creating an enabling environment both at national as well as atprovincial level.
Representative of UNICEF appreciated not only Clean Green Index but alsoits umbrella project, Clean Green Pakistan Movement. He assured support onthe behalf of his organization in order to achieve the targets. Haider/Abid
