Indian Army soldier killed in Pakistan Army retaliatory fire at LoC

NEW DELHI – Indian soldier was killed when Pakistan Army retaliated toIndian ceasefire in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The soldier hasbeen identified as 23-year-old Grenadier Hemraj Jat, a resident of Bhadoonvillage in Roopangarh tehsil of Rajasthan’s Alwar.

He was inducted in the Army on March 2017.

The unprovoked firing from India started at about 1 pm on Sunday. INDIAfired small arms and shelling along with mortars in Poonch. The PakistanArmy retaliated befittingly.
