ISLAMABAD– The shortfall of electricity has rose drastically in Pakistanwith the rise in mercury.
Shortfall mounted to 5560MW as power cuts have crippled routine lifeactivities across country.
The demand of electricity at present stands at 23670MW whereas itsproduction is just 18110MW.
Sources further added feeders with losses over 10pc were being subjected toload shedding.
