Pakistani Security forces killed three hardcore terrorists in an IBO

RAWALPINDI – Security forces killed three terrorists in a gun battle in anarea of North Waziristan district, said military’s media wing on Saturday.

According to ISPR, an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted ingeneral area Ghulam Khan Kalay on reported presence of terrorists.

During fire exchange, three terrorists while weapons and ammunition wasalso recovered from their possession.

The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activitiesagainst security forces, said ISPR in its statement.

Separately, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrests terroristsof different banned terror organisation, including TTP and Daesh, fromPunjab.

The arrests were made in various IBOs conducted in Lahore, Gujranwala,Sargodha, Multan and Rawalpindi. Explosives, weapons and suicide jacketswere also recovered from the arrested terrorists.

Terrorists have been identified as Muhammad Yaqub, Muhammad Arif, MuhammadBilal, TTP’s Amin Farooq and Daesh’s Farooq Ahmed and Muhammad Asif.

The anti-terrorist police have registered seven cases against them.
