*ISLAMABAD – **Federal government decides to introduce new law regardingproduction orders of parliamentarians.*
*As per the media report, The federal government has decided to draft newlegislation for the production orders of parliamentarians, it emergedTuesday.*
The decision was made at a meeting of the federal cabinet presided over byPrime Minister Imran Khan. He tasked the Ministry of Law to draft thelegislation.
The prime minister said that the production orders for members of theassembly involved in money laundering and corruption should not be issuedin any case. He said such prisoners should also not be given the status ofpolitical inmates in jail.
