LAHORE – Justice Muhammad Anwaarul Haq took oath as the acting ChiefJustice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday.

Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan administered the oath to the actingChief Justice in a ceremony held at the LHC judges lounge.

LHC judges, officials, law officers and a number of lawyers attended theceremony. LHC Judges and court officials congratulated Justice MuhammadAnwaarul Haq on holding the office.

LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali was abroad on a twenty-day visit.–APP
