SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, another youth was crushed to death by avehicle of Indian Police Force in Nowhatta area of Srinagar.

The incident triggered fresh protests against the government and securityforces.

Over fifty people were injured due to firing of pellets, bullets andteargas shells by Indian Police Force on protestors.

Pro Indian National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has strongly criticisedChief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s government over the incident. He tweeted“Ceasefire means no guns so use jeeps,”. He asked if this was the standardoperating procedure of dealing with protesters?

On the other side, complete shutdown is being observed in the occupiedKashmir, today, against the surge in civilian killings by Indian troops.

Call for the shutdown has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadershipcomprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.
