ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Law Farogh Naseem on Thursday said that thegovernment will introduce amendments in laws governing the NAB and CriminalProcedure Code.
Replying to a point of order in National Assembly session, the law ministersaid that the government has held several meetings with the opposition toreach a common ground over amendment in the National Accountability Bureau(NAB) law.
He said the opposition has given a long list for proposed amends in thelaw. “We have no ego issues, the bill will be given final shape,” theminister said.
He urged the opposition to strengthen the government for a strong Pakistan.

The law minister in a statement last month said that the government and theopposition were discussing amendments in the law governing the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB).
Naseem said that he and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi frequentlymet the opposition members to discuss the issue.
