ISLAMABAD – A special ceremony was held at Gayari, Siachen to pay tributesto the Shahuada of Gayari who sacrificed their lives in line of duty in2012 due to a massive snow avalanche.

Paying rich tribute to the martyrs and their families, Corps commanderRawalpindi Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza said that Pakistan Army willalways remember its officers and men who laid their lives defending themotherland.

The Corps commander also laid floral wreath at Shahuada monument.

Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Corps Commander Rawalpindi and relativesof shaheeds attended the ceremony.
