ISLAMABAD – The Interior Ministry on Wednesday has unveiled the new policyfor the prohibited bore weapons.
Interior Ministry has lifted a ban on the issuance of licences forprohibited bore weapons for the residents of the federal capital.
The district administration has issued a notification pertaining to liftingof ban on the issuance of licences for prohibited bore weapons and processof issuance of licences.
According to the SOP, the residents of Islamabad will file an applicationto the district administration along with their photographs, copy of CNICand residential proof.
The residents could get the licenses of Shot Gun, Non-Automatic, PumpAction, Revolver, pistol and rifles.
The license would be issued within one month after the submission of theapplication and the license would be issued after the approval of localpolice and Special Branch.
